AI Draft Reviewer
An AI reviewer for research drafts that gives fast, structured feedback you can actually act on. It checks: Whether claims are supported by evidence (and if citations are missing/weak) Structure and flow (section logic, argument progression, redundancy) Clarity and consistency (terminology, definitions, contradictions) Writing quality (readability, conciseness, academic tone) Alignment with common journal expectations (presentation, rigor, completeness) You’ll get a clear review plus concrete suggestions section-by-section, so you can revise with confidence before submission.
Turkish Language
Please add Turkish language as research and AI output.
AI models visibility and selection
when generating a paper, we should be able to select the best model with transparency, depending on the parameters of our document
Reference check
Checking the reference in writer if they are in the appropriate space (line, paragraph) and cited correctly with DOI
Google Drive Integration
Google Drive Integration for Reference Manager
EPUB file support
Supporting EPUB format papers to organise and manager in your Paperguide References
Increase the limits of 6000 characters and 100 papers
There are some papers that should be much longer than the actual 6000 limit or 100 papers. This is relevant for AI generations
Duplicates search
Search for duplicate references and where they are located, allow easy workflow to eliminate extra copy/copies. Can items be copied/cloned over multiple folders? More sort/filter options in Reference Manager - it does not put my list in alphabetical order so that makes it harder to see duplicates (no way to get those listings side by side unless maybe i review them in lit review table instead?) I’m still learning the tool, open to learn there are other ways to do the things I’m providing feedback on.

Citation Graph (Literature Maps)
Citation Graph helps you visually explore how research papers are connected through citations. Starting from any paper, you can see which works it builds on and which later papers cite it, revealing influential studies, key research paths, and emerging directions in a field. Instead of scanning long reference lists, you get an interactive map of related papers that you can expand, filter, and add to your library. This makes it easier to discover foundational research, understand how ideas evolved, and identify the most relevant papers for your topic.
Update References in Reference Manager
This enables you to update the meta data/bib information of the references and get bib if any fields are not filled
Microsoft Word Plugin (waiting for approval)
Update: Our engineering team has submitted the plugin to Microsoft and is currently waiting for the approval. Access Paperguide's references and AI tools directly in Microsoft Word for seamless writing and citation management.
Support CSV, DOCX & Image Inputs in Research Agent
Add support for uploading and analyzing CSV, DOCX, and image files directly in the Research Agent, alongside PDFs. The agent should extract content from these formats, index it where appropriate, and allow users to ask questions, generate summaries, and cite information from them within the same research workflow.
ClinicalTrials.gov Database Integration
We’re integrating ClinicalTrials.gov so you can bring trial records into Paperguide alongside papers. Search and compare trials by condition, intervention, phase, outcomes, status, etc. Use trials as inputs for evidence synthesis (literature reviews, extraction tables, summaries) Extract key trial details into structured data (design, enrollment, endpoints, timeline) Connect trials with relevant publications to get a fuller view of the evidence landscape
Collaboration Literature Review (Data Extraction Tables)
Run systematic literature reviews as a team—plan together, screen faster, extract data consistently, and publish a shared synthesis with full traceability. AI Writer Improvements
We’re upgrading the AI Writer to act more like a steady writing partner—helping you refine drafts without changing your intent. Smarter suggestions while you write (clarity, structure, missing details) Better rewrites with controllable tone (shorter, clearer, more formal, more academic) Fixes that stay consistent (terminology, abbreviations, tense, style) Consistency checks across sections (no contradictions, smoother transitions) Quick help for headings, summaries, and paragraph-level polishing without rewriting everything from scratch
Data Extraction Improvements for Tables
We’re improving table data extraction so you can pull structured data from papers more accurately—and use it right away for analysis.
View exact source from PDF
View the exact text source in the PDF for the responses and citations given in the chat with PDF answers.
comparison of two documents for gap analysis/difference/review, etc.
Please add a feature like comparison of two documents for gap analysis/difference/review, etc., useful for research, Like i am researcher in trial, always need compare SOPs, Guidelines compare, Gap analysis, report differences check
Notes Taking
A dedicated notes product inside Paperguide to collect, organize, and reuse research insights—with citations preserved—across all workflows. A single place to create and manage notes independent of Chat with PDF, AI Search, or Literature Review—while still connecting to them. Send snippets, answers, highlights, and table rows into Notes from any Paperguide surface. Citations are attached automatically (paper + source context). Freeform notes, bullet points, checklists, and structured blocks (Claim / Evidence / Implication). Mix quick thoughts with rigorous evidence. Save citation-backed snippets as cards you can drag into drafts, extraction tables, or review sections—without losing attribution. Select notes (or a notebook) as context for agents: Literature Review, Draft Writing, Gap Analysis, or Question Refinement—so agents work from your curated insights.
Increasing Document Generation Word Limit
Increase the maximum word limit supported by the document generation system, enabling users to create longer, more comprehensive documents without interruption. This improvement will enhance usability for articles, literature reviews, reports, thesis, dissertations and more.
PubMed Integration
PubMed Database Integration connects you directly to a vast repository of biomedical and life sciences literature, allowing seamless access to high-quality research articles. Easily search, retrieve, and incorporate relevant studies into your projects for well-informed, evidence-based writing.
Improving PDF extraction in Reference Manager
Full-text paper/PDF retrieval from open access papers from multiple databases.

Reference Manager: Collaboration & Organization
We’re improving the reference manager so it’s easier to manage big libraries and work with others. Shared libraries so teams/labs can collect and maintain references together Folders/collections to organize papers by project, topic, or stage (to-read, screened, included, etc.) Tags + notes for quick labeling, context, and reminders on each paper Search + filters across your library (by author, year, venue, tags, status, and more) Activity + ownership basics (who added/edited what) to keep collaboration clean and understandable
